As an aquatic Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day operations including but not limited to hiring instructors, training, scheduling, and pool maintenance. Skills & Abilities
- At least one-year experience managing or co-managing an aquatics facility
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Desire to grow and seek personal development.
- A passion for the water and working with children.
- Must have knowledge of general safety rules and precautions related to a swimming pool environment.
- Must have professional demeanor and appearance.
- Excellent communication skills
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversees and coordinates the recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance of employees of the facility.
- Supervises the day-to-day activities of staff.
- Oversees the maintenance of the pools, to include chemistry, climate control, cleanliness, and related maintenance.
- Develops and maintains records of operational facility usage; monitors and maintains inventories of pool equipment and supplies.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Ensures that all appropriate water, environmental, health and safety standards are maintained;
- Ensure lesson objectives adhere to the procedures and methods as referenced in the Training Manual.
- Always strive to develop the team.
- Meeting and Weekly communications with staff
Qualifications – Having any one of these certifications is a plus
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) OR Certified as an Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO)
- Certification in first aid
- CPR for the professional Rescuer
- Lifeguard training
